There are many factors to consider when choosing a builder. Finding a builder with experience, financial stability, excellent warranty for care after closing and team members with many different areas of expertise to assist you in making selections are the most important. Stillbrooke Homes has over 30 years combined home building experience. We will assist you every step of the way!
In our years of experience, we have found that the following questions are commonly asked.

Question 1: What is "Built on Your Lot Construction"?
Build on Your Lot has gained popularity as home buyers tire of "subdivision" living. Today's buyers are more educated and know they have choices. Build on Your Lot is geared towards home buyers that own their own land and want to build a home on it. Stillbrooke offers stock plans to choose from and we also have the ability to create a floor plan that fits your needs perfectly.

Question 2: How do I know what type of home I can build on my lot?
Stillbrooke Homes will complete a site visit to your property to see the lay of the land and take measurements to be sure you select the right home for your lot conditions. Our experienced staff can then help you in the selection of your new home. You can select from our “stock” plans or custom design your home.

Question 3: How will I know how much my home will cost and is there a price guarantee?
Pricing can be determined upon review of your floor plan. We will also provide you with a list of “included” features. Once pricing is determined, it will not change unless you make any additional plan changes or select upgrades.

Question 4: How do I get financing to get my home built?
Stillbrooke Homes will assist you in securing financing to build your home. We have a great one-time close program with highly competitive rates. Our sales consultants will be happy to discuss our program in detail with you.

Question 5: What are the most important things to look for when buying a lot?
Stillbrooke Homes can help you in selecting your lot. Some factors that may affect the cost of building your new home are site conditions (flat, rocky, terraced terrain) and utility location- the further the distance from a water or power source, the higher the cost can be. With so many factors to consider, it is important to select an experienced builder. |
